STEEL BOX GIRDER BRIDGES DESIGN GUIDES & METHODS
During the past decade, there has been extensive use of steel box girders for straight and curved highway and transit structures. To meet the need for use of such structural elements, design criteria had to be established. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to present information relative to the design criteria in addition to information on preliminary plate sizes, design aids, and computer-aided design of steel box girder bridges.
