FLEXURAL BEHAVIOUR OF COMPOSITE CEMENT SHEETS USING WOVEN POLYPROPYLENE MESH FABRICS
Detailed results are presented of four-point flexural bending tests of a new composite material which makes use of polypropylene woven fabric. Only one type of woven fabric with a fixed spacing in the warp and weft directions is described. The test results show that the use of woven fabric is an efficient method of fibre reinforcement. Comparison is made with other cement composites. (Author/TRRL)
