PROPERTIES OF GABBRO IN BITUMINOUS MIXTURES
GABBRO I BELAEGGNINGEN
The aim of this report is to study the properties of gabbro in bituminous mixtures. Field and laboratory tests and microscopy studies have been performed. Gabbro has a high compressive strength, a high modulus of elasticity, low flakiness value, low impact value and few micro cracks. Results show that gabbro resists deterioration well but more extensive field studies have to be performed in order to compare this mixture to others. (TRRL)
