MAINTENANCE OF THE WEARING COURSE OF GRAVEL ROAD

METODER FOR GRUSSLITLAGRETS BEHANDLING

This report forms a part of the research project "improvement and maintenance of gravel roads", financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers. It is based on a literature research which charts gravel road surfacing methods suitable for Nordic conditions. Surfacing methods mean the replacement of the traditionally used crushed and natural gravel in the wearing course with cheaper road aggregates and methods used in dust binding. (TRRL)
