TRANSFORMATION OF MOODY DIAGRAM
The Moody diagram has been extensively used for the solution of pipe flow problems. A revised pipe flow diagram between dimensionless parameters is developed based on the transformation of the Moody diagram with the help of the Darcy equation. The revised diagram eliminates the repeated use of the Darcy equation, the friction factor, and the need of successive trials in the solution of pipe flow problems.
