ON THE APPLICATION OF THE BOUNDING THEOREMS OF PLASTICITY TO IMPULSIVELY LOADED STRUCTURES
A review of recent progress in the development of displacement bounding techniques for dynamically loaded structures is presented. This recent progress is based on a clearer formulation of the bounding theorems of time independent plasticity, and extends the bounding technique to cover structures in which displacements are large.
