MINIMUM ENERGY TRANSPORTATION FUTURE. HARRISBURG REGION. FINAL REPORT
The study reported covers passenger and freight transport, and was carried out to evaluate the potential for conserving transport energy by the use of existing modes and technologies. Untested technology, alternative power sources, and major shifts in land use are ignored. Five sections deal with: 1, introduction; 2, the national energy problem; 3, screening criteria for energy conservation measures; 4, case study: Harrisburg; and 5, conclusions and recommendations.
