SIGNS FOR CYCLE FACILITIES
This note updates the signing methods available for cycle facilities in England and Wales since local transport note 1/78 was published. It illustrates the prescribed and non-prescribed signs that are available and gives guidance on their use. Typical layouts of mandatory with-flow and contra-flow cycle lanes and of two-way cycle tracks within highway with adjacent footway or with right of way for pedestrians (unsegregated) are illustrated.
