FIELD TEST AND DEMONSTRATION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A limited field test and demonstration program was conducted on a Jet Industries Electra-Van 600 electric vehicle. Numerous problems were encountered with weather, vehicle reliability, and driver reactions. These problems prevented accomplishing all of the original objectives of the test and demonstration program. However, important practical experience was gained in designing and operating such programs. The report summarizes the results and lessons learned. (Author)
