Review on Evaluation Criteria for Vehicle-Bridge Coupled System
Besides the modelling and solving of the vehicle-bridge coupled system, an important question is how to evaluate the result of the dynamic history for the vehicle subsystem. A general suggestion is proposed in the paper for the dynamic responses of the vehicle safety factors and the vehicle comfort factors. The limits are classified and re-analysed by the characteristics of the vehicle-bridge coupled system simulation. 5 current designing and rating codes are studied and compared. The result of the vehicle-bridge coupled system simulation differs by the time-step used in history integral, statistical method and data processing method in frequency domain, which leads an important loss of the objectivity. The factors including the critical values of the derail factor, the offload factor and the car-body acceleration are compared under various time-step. Based on the code items, the statistical and filtering suggestion is proposed, by which the relativity between the time step the integral and the key factors are decreased.
