CONTROL GEAR FOR CONVERTER-FED D.C. DRIVES FOR CRANES
REGELGERAETE FUER GLEICHSTROM-HEBEZEUGANTRIEBE MIT STRAMRICHTERSPEISUNG
The authors describe a control concept for d.c. drives, which covers the different circuit conditions needed for all types of crane drives. By using modules for the control gear which consist mainly of integrated amplifiers, it has been possible to develop two basic circuits for the required variants (armature reversal, anti-parallel connection) which are wired in the same way but have different components. By including various extras, the new equipment can be varied for use with bulk cargo, container, grab, dockyard and erection cranes.
