Optimization model for the distribution of investment volumes by measures to reduce the impact of risks in road construction
High requirements for the reliability and durability of the roads being built, as well as the structural complexity of the technological process of road construction determine the high importance of solving the problems connected to the determination of the characteristics for design solutions (including investment volumes for measures to reduce the impact of risks) with taking into account the negative impact of various categories of risks on separate stages of the road construction process. Based on the results of the review and analysis of scientific works in the relevant field, it has been concluded that there are no effective tools for adequate risk accounting during the justification of the main parameters for construction projects. Optimization model has been developed for the distribution of investment volumes by measures to reduce the impact of risks within the road construction project. In this case, the structure of the model corresponds to the quadratic programming problem. The developed model has been implemented on a practical example – on the basis on the received results a conclusion has been made about the high practical significance of the corresponding tool.
