Territorial development by creating multi-cluster agglomerations based on customized high-speed railroads
Rail transport has always played a large role in the development of territories, providing reliable, safe and fast transportation of people and goods. In recent decades, due to the emergence of specialized high-speed highways, there has been a qualitative jump in the capabilities of railways in terms of speed. The increase in speeds allows providing high-quality transport communications with large areas. There is a tendency to converge agglomerations and smaller settlements through high-speed transport links and the formation of superagglomerations. At the same time, in a number of countries there is a problem of underdeveloped territories and their poor transport support. The concept of the development of territories through the creation of multicluster agglomerations based on specialized high-speed railways is proposed. Using the logical method, analysis and synthesis, the differences and main advantages of the proposed solutions in relation to the classical approach are determined, the role of high-speed transport in the formation of multicluster agglomerations is justified. Specialized highways with high-speed pendulum movement and multicluster agglomerations will ensure the development of significant territories. The proposed concept provides many opportunities to improve the quality of life by changing the conditions of resettlement and movement of labour.
