Structural optimization of a mobile rope transport system hydro pipe based on pareto-optimal solutions

A method for structural optimization of hydraulic drive of mobile transport-overground ropeway complexes based on special multi-axle chassis with increased load-carrying capacity and cross-country capability is proposed in the paper. At present this type of technological machines can be regarded as a new class of technological above-ground conveying means which is an effective alternative to stationary ropeway systems for hard-to-reach territories with a complicated relief and when it is necessary to deploy transport-logistic operations promptly. The algorithm of Pareto set forming consisting of set of alternative hydraulic drive execution variants on the base of combination of displacement pumps and hydraulic motors of admissible standard sizes is considered. A selection criterion of Pareto-optimal solutions for the designed hydraulic drive, based on three quality indicators - the total mass of hydraulic machines, specific power and efficiency of a hydraulic drive - is proposed.
