Optimization of Multimodal Transport Route with Mixed Time Windows
Along with the rapid development of the economy and the demand for transportation modes, transportation time and transportation quality is also increasing. In this paper, the mixed time window constraints are added to the route optimization of multimodal transport to ensure good service. On the analysis of the factors influencing the route optimization of multimodal transport to minimize the transportation cost and gain more profits, a model of route optimization with soft and hard time window constraints is established. The model can be solved by a genetic algorithm on the software of MATLAB. By using this model, a problem of multimodal transport route optimization is worked out with the best transportation mode combination. The model established in this paper has time and transportation cost advantages, and will be significant to the multimodal transport in the future.
