THE DRINKING DRIVER PROGRAM INVENTORY
This is an inventory of questions relating to ten different areas of the drinking driver program. Each question is meant as a tool for assessing the strengths and weaknesses in state and local programs to combat drunk driving. These questions (which are written so that they can be checked yes, no, or partly) can help citizens assess the alcohol-crash problems, develop local solutions, and deter people who would drink and drive. The different areas covered in this inventory are as follows: the alcohol-crash problem, legislation, licensing, enforcement, adjudication, alcohol safety programs, prevention/education/treatment, public information and education, personal intervention, and records.
