ON THE APPROXIMATION OF MAXIMUM STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS FOR TWO EMBEDDED COPLANAR CRACKS

The objective of this research memorandum is to establish approximate procedures for estimating the maximum stress intensity factors for two embedded cracks. Attention will be limited to coplanar parallel cracks which are assumed to be elliptical in shape. (Author)
