WHEEL/RAIL RESEARCH--RESISTANCE AND COMFORT IN TUNNELS
RAD/SCHIENE--FORSCHUNG, WIDERSTAND UND KOMFORT IM TUNNEL
This research concerns the aerodynamic effects of running trains at high speeds in tunnels. Effects vary according to train length, couplers, speeds and the tunnel cross-section. Constructive recommendations can be put forward on the basis of these findings.
