A SINGLE POINT MOORING BUOY
A single point mooring buoy for a pipeline to or from a ship has a movable ring which is placed on the upper part of the buoy structure so that it can turn on a vertical axis. The buoy is attached to the ship by an anchor rope or chain fastened tangentially to the ring.
