Occupational Safety in a Medical Ambulances
A paramedic is a person performing a medical profession, authorized to provide health services in health care institutions, in particular to provide health services in a situation of direct, sudden threat to life or health. Scientific publications indicate a high rate of injuries among medical personnel while working in ambulances as well as difficulties in performing medical procedures due to the lack of unification of equipment in different ambulances. The problem of mismatch between the spatial structure of medical compartment in ambulances to the needs of rescuers and the methodology of its assessment is presented in the paper.
