Study of Vehicles Energy Efficiency
This paper presents some issues regarding vehicles’ energy efficiency which implies simultaneous approach on the dynamic and economic parameters. Nowadays, the interest in improving the dynamic performances of the vehicles together with reducing the fuel consumption has grown, issue that is directly related to energy efficiency. In the sense of those presented, the paper approaches the criteria of appreciation of the dynamics and economy used in the specialized literature. Also, there are defined and established some appreciation values criteria of energy efficiency of vehicles which addresses both aspects. The study is based on the experimental data obtained from the test of a gasoline powered passenger car, data acquired from the on-board computer by a specialized tester. The paper proposes a study method of dynamic performances of vehicles related to energy efficiency.
