BRIGHT FUTURE FOR SELFLOTE

Dunlop Ltd. can supply "Selflote" flexible hoses up to 30 in. dia for single buoy mooring systems. These hoses are made with a synthetic rubber inner core reinforced with wrapped, steel reinforcing plys and helically bound with steel cable; further reinforcing and protective layers follow and then the whole is encased in a flexible buoyancy material composed of unicellular expanded natural rubber. Dunlop has a film available to potential customers entitled "The Floating Pipeline", which shows the Selflote oil hose being made and in use.
