Global Positioning: Application to the Intelligent Transportation System
This paper discusses the origin and uses of the Global Positioning System, analyzes its potential uses in the development of the Intelligent Transportation System, and discusses a small case study performed in the Fargo-Moorhead area using a low-end GPS unit.
