MARINE TERMINAL IN QUINTERO
A new marine terminal in Bay of Quintero, Chile to handle tankers up to 200,000 dwt and 300 m long, with drafts to 58 ft, comprises a monobuoy connected by concrete-coated under-water pipeline to land and storage tanks. Formerly there were marine installations and tanks suitable for tankers up to 50,000 dwt comprising a multibuoy system with anchors for the tankers and two 16 in. submarine pipelines some 600 m long.
