BETTER FURNISHING OF PUBLIC SPACE AND SPENDING LESS
MIEUX AMENAGER L'ESPACE PUBLIC AVEC MOINS D'ARGENT
Lately towns have been laid out to serve different groups in different places: playgrounds, and streets for heavy traffic. Now there is less money and more imagination is needed to give everybody a possibility to take part in traffic life. A new idea is emerging of laying out streets so that they can be used by everybody at the same time. In Delft, Gouda and Lelystad people have been trying to do just that. (TRRL)
