WELL-DESIGNED CONCRETE COATING PROTECTS OFFSHORE PIPELINES
Guidelines for designing a protective concrete coating for shallow- and deep-water pipelines are presented, including the significance of the soil conditions, the marine environmental conditions, and construction design factors, such as pipeline configuration, tensioning, accurate coating-weight control, accurate coating application, and correction of the installed pipeline weight in water.
