AN ENERGY MODEL ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF METHANOL ON LEAD PHASE- DOWN
The paper reports on the development of an energy model of the NSW liquid fuels sector and its use in the analysis of the impact of methanol on proposed lead phase-down requirements. Volatility limitations in gasoline to prevent vapour-lock give rise to nonlinear constraints which are handled using a large-scale nonlinear optimization code. (Author/TRRL)
