LOW-MODULUS FLAT-PROOFING MEDIA FOR PNEUMATIC TIRES
This paper describes the development and performance testing of a family of unique, low-modulus, elastomeric tire-filling media for puncture-proofing of heavy-duty pneumatic tires. Static and dynamic properties are evaluated in comparison with air inflation, including such factors as ride, rolling resistance, internal heat build-up, and durability.
