A MICRO-COMPUTER INTERFACE FOR VIBRATING WIRE STRAIN GAUGES
A low cost interface has been developed to allow a micro- computer to operate and read vibrating wire strain gauges. The interface brings all the benefits of computer control and results processing to these simple robust gauges. Although initially installed on a "commodore pet" micro- computer the electronics are such that the interface will work with any 6800 or 6502 micro-processor based system. (Author/TRRL)
