WITH THE NEW TEMPO/TOPAZ, FORD AIMS AT 1983'S SIMPLEST SERVICING
This article reports the results of a tour of the office-garage of Bob Bunnell at Ford's Service Research Center. Bunnell, a 10-year veteran of Ford's design and service branches, checks out new models before they go on the assembly line. He does this from the customers' standpoint and makes suggestions for changes. The Ford Tempo prototype was in his garage for inspection. This article reports on what was found in the engine bay, under the car, and inside the passenger compartment.
