ADMIRALTY LAW AND ITS EFFECT ON OFFSHORE DEVELOPMENT

An introduction to selected phases of the admiralty law as it relates to offshore technological development covers operation of movable drilling rigs (but not fixed platforms) as vessels manned by "Seamen", seizure of vessels, geographical limits of maritime areas, martime personal injuries, and collisions at sea, including collisions between vessels and fixed platforms and damages to submarine pipelines due to vessels dragging anchors.
