A NEW MASS FLOW COMPUTER AND A CONTROVERSY
The term mass flow computer is something of a misnomer, as what is usually required is an output providing standard volume, as formerly computed by engineers using gas tables ans slide rules. Solartron's new mass flow computer provides automatic on-line computation using digital techniques. The mass-flow computer is of molecular construction consisting of a basic chassis with a d-c power supply into which a variety of printed circuit board options can be plugged.
