IN TRANSPORTING FINELY DIVIDED SOLIDS THROUGH A PIPELINE
In transporting finely divided solids through a pipeline in a fluid stream flowing at higher than the critical velocity, a scrambler is provided for temporarily increasing the velocity without substantially affecting the pressure of the stream, thus restoring the original distribution of the solids in the stream.
