THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM WITH MTR-TSUEN WAN EXTENSION

In the planning of the integration of the MTR-Tsuen Wan Extension (TWE) with other public transport services, optimization approach was used. It enabled the co-ordination to be planned systematically, reducing the need for subjective judgement. The paper describes the planning study and compares the estimated system performance with observation during the stabilization period.
