THERMO DATA REFINED FOR LPG--14. MIXTURES
A new equation of state successfully predicted more than 1400 data points for 38 mixtures, including LPG and natural gas, and containing up to 10 components. The average absolute deviations were 1.16% from experimental densities at 0283 to 460 F and 14.7-5000 psia, 2.20 Btu/lb from experimental enthalpy departures at -2500 to 680 F and 50-2500 psia, and 0.0052 Btu/lb from experimental entropy departures at -250 to 300 F and 250-2000 psia. Over 2000 data points for the C sub 1-C sub 2 n-paraffins, isobutane, isopentane, ethylene, propylene, cyclohexane, benzene, toluene, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and nitrous and nitric oxides were also predicted. The average absolute deviations were 1.38% from experimental densities, 1.74 Btu/lb from experimental enthalpy departures, and 1.08% from experimental saturated vapor fugacities.
