NOMOGRAPH FOR THE DETERMINIATION OF THE VISCOSITY OF LIQUID-SOLID SUSPENSIONS
The viscosity of free-flowing liquid-solid suspensions may be estimated from the viscosity of the liquid and the volume fraction of solids when the volume fraction of solids is less than 0.5. The derivation of the nomograph is explained briefly, and its use is illustrated with a numerical example.
