TACKLING THE INSECURITY IN TRAFFIC AT LOCAL LEVEL

The author evaluates the present possibilities of making inventories of black spots and their characteristics. Based on the latter, certain measures to reduce the number of accidents can be set up. Two examples are given of the application of the AVOC-Manual developed for the various road authorities. (TRRL)
