A Study on Urbanization by Agrarian diversion and Its Spatial transformation at the Unplanned urban area in periphery
This study aimed at clarifying the mechanism of the transformation of agricultural land after the agrarian reform and the conversion of residential land before the New City Planning Act through the investigation by agrarian diversion registry, land registry and real estate registry in Ishihara-cho, Kadoma City, where had been disorderly urbanized in Osaka’s urban periphery area during the period of high economic growth. In the rapid urbanization of Ishihara-cho, the increase in landowners due to the agrarian reform further promoted the conversion from farmland to residential land. In addition, road composition had been based on farmland as urgent methods, farmland can beconverted into residential land with low-cost buildings like wooden rental apartments in spite of weak infrastructure.
