MODELING AS A METHOD OF NOISE CONTROL IN RAIL VEHICLES
On the base of the valid theoretical relations for sound transmission in rail vehicles it is not or only approximately possible to calculate the acoustical values immediately, because the vehicles have a complex structure. By means of similar or analogous computation models it is possible to calculate the sound field values with a better correspondence to the real vehicle and this enables one to derive effective noise control measures. Electric resistance networks and electric conductible paper have proved as most suitable for the modelling of body sound propagation.
