BIM.Hamburg − ein Erfolgsmodell auch für andere Verwaltungen in Deutschland

BIM.Hamburg - also a model for success for other administrations in Germany

Die Anwendung der digitalen Arbeitsmethodik Building Information Modeling (BIM) erfordert weitreichende Veränderungen in Prozessen, Anpassungen in Richtlinien, die Etablierung neuer Technologien und nicht zuletzt einen Kulturwandel in der Arbeitsweise. In der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg (FHH) sind diese Herausforderungen und das hohe Potenzial von BIM bereits früh erkannt worden. Um einen möglichst hohen Wissensaustausch und einheitliche Vorgaben innerhalb Hamburgs zu gewährleisten, ist 2018 die virtuelle Organisation BIM.Hamburg ins Leben gerufen worden. Dort werden die notwendigen Pilot- und Standardisierungsprojekte behördenübergreifend gesteuert und koordiniert. Mittlerweile wird BIM auf Basis von gemeinsamen Standards in der FHH bereits in über 30 Projekten, sowohl im Infrastruktur- als auch im Hochbau, angewendet. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The application of BIM requires extensive changes in processes, adaptations to directives, establishment of new technologies and not at least a cultural change in the way of work. In Hamburg these challenges and the high potential of BIM were realized at an early stage from the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg - FHH). In order to ensure the highest possible exchange of knowledge and uniform requirements within the city of Hamburg, BIM.Hamburg was founded by several organisational units in 2018 and manages and coordinates necessary pilot and standardization projects in cross-functional teams. By now, BIM will already be applied on the basis of common standards in the FHH in more than 30 projects in infrastructure and building construction.
