Adoption of New Fuel Efficient Technologies from SuperTruck
As requested by the Congress in the Explanatory Statement accompanying the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act of 2015, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) prepared this report on the adoption of new fuel efficiency technologies for Class 8 heavy-duty long-haul trucks as developed under the DOE SuperTruck initiative. The information presented in this report is derived from a variety of sources but is based primarily on discussions with the four industry-led teams participating in the DOE SuperTruck initiative about their general findings and future plans for technologies within the initiative.
