PAVEMENT REHABILITATION DESIGN
This report outlines a pavement rehabilitation procedure which is based on making full use of knowledge of the pavement's present condition and past behaviour. The recommended analytical approach consists of three main stages: 1, an initial assessment which is largely based on available pavement records and visual inspection; 2, detailed assessments in which a structured series of tests are carried out until appropriate rehabilitation options can be determined; and 3, an economic analysis of these options. This outline is intended to form the basis of a comprehensive rehabilitation design manual. (TRRL)
