METHOD OF EVALUATING CEMENT CONTENT AND ADDITIONS TO FRESH CONCRETE. SIGNIFICANT SO3/CEMENT RATIO
METODO PARA DETERMINAR EL CONTENIDO DE CEMENTO Y DE ADICIONES EN EL HORMIGON FRESCO. IMPORTANCIA DE LA RELACION SO3/CEMENTO
Details are given of the modifications made by the author to the gravimetric metod for evaluating the proportion of silica in silicates. These modifications have resulted in a marked increase in the accurate evaluation of portland cement content in fresh concrete. This method permits the determination of the chemical durability of concrete in particular when 504 from fly ash is present. For the covering abstract of the congress see TRIS 378413. (TRRL)
