Formation of Conditions for the Development of the Transport Sphere on the Basis of Training of Specialists at the University

The quality of training of specialists is a priority condition for the development of a certain field of activity. This is especially true for an industry-specific university, when the quality of education is formed on the basis of the constant interaction of dependent organizations within a corporation. The study of the reserves for improving the quality of personnel training is based on the study of external and internal, including general and specific conditions of the sphere, taking into account the peculiarities of the educational environment of a transport university. The task of researching the reasons for the choice of the transport university by students, their attitude to learning and the desire to learn, etc., which determine the degree of their manifestation of opportunism in the learning process, is put forward. The essence of the concept of “opportunistic behavior of students” is revealed; the types of manifestation of opportunism by them are considered; the reasons for the emergence of opportunistic behavior of students in a transport university are determined on the basis of the conducted surveys. Possible means of preventing the onset or reducing the degree of manifestation of this type of behavior are proposed.
