WAVE RESISTANCE CALCULATIONS BY GUILLOTON'S METHOD
The wave resistance calculation procedure invented by Guilloton and used by Emerson has been adapted for computer and applied to several practical ship forms with good results. Differences in wave drag caused by small differences in hull shape are well predicted, so the method should be useful in hull design.
