TRANSPORT WITHOUT HANDICAP: PROGRESS SEMINAR 16 JUNE 1982
This paper sets out the main points to come out of a seminar which was held to review the progress made in easing disabled people's transport problems since the "Transport Without Handicap" Conference, which the Department of Transport organised in March 1981. This note is divided into the four main topics which the seminar covered: disabled pedestrians, disabled motorists, public transport, and door to door transport. In each section, the comments made at the seminar have been grouped under two headings; first, the developments which have taken place and secondly the problems which still have to be overcome.
