HANDLING BULK GOODS. SYSTEMATICS OF THE INSTALLATION COMPONENTS
Handling bulk goods is defined in all the various forms, starting from the purpose of handling and storage. It is always resorted to where goods have to be transferred from one handling equipment to the other. The author describes the various methods of transshipment of bulk goods, which can be classified according to the method of accumulation or to the time the goods remain in the rail and water terminal. He also deals with the assessment of transshipment and distribution equipment and bulk goods transshipment installations in harbors.
