Optimum Distribution Patterns for Durum, Hard Red Spring, Hard Red Winter and Flour Considering Substitutability in Domestic and Export Markets 1965 and Projected to 1970 and 1975
The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the potential West Coast market for hard red spring and durum wheat; 2) to assess the existing and potential capacity for producing spring wheat in North Dakota; and 3) to determine the impact of the North Coast and Intermountain flour milling industry of reductions in westbound domestic rail freight rates on hard red spring and durum wheat.
