TRAINING OF HOSPITAL STAFF IN MEDICAL TREATMENT AT THE SITE OF AN ACCIDENT

This paper is dealing with the education of staff specially prepared for medical work at the place of an accident. It is stated that it is possible at a relatively low cost to give training which increases the preparedness to take care of severely ill patients in the field and thereby make it possible to reduce the complications and mortality after severe trauma. An example is given how such training could be arranged. (TRRL)
