In this article the most important elements connected with the responsibility of drivers and other road traffic participants have been systematized. All types of investigations according to traffic accident level have been listed. The elements of the criminal and material responsibility of drivers and other road traffic participants have been analysed. The specific elements of proceedings against offences (fining on the spot and special security measures) are also presented. (TRRL)
